I needed to find a book that delved into the Win9x registry in the same amount of depth as this one, but this book is almost totally VB & C oriented. I bought it looking for a tools I could use within the command shell that's native to Win9x, but even though it didn't have what I was looking for, it's still a great book, but it's definitely a programmers guide, not an administrative tool. Since I got it, some friends have told me how a combo of Kix & Rexx scriptinig is actually what I'm looking for.I still give it four stars because I can't knock it for not having what I want, because what it has is very, very good.
